The 2014 Grammy Awards were home to a lot of great spectacles. One of them was when DAFT PUNK lit up the Staples Center in Los Angeles with a stunning display featuring LED Neon Flex Vivid RGB!
DAFT PUNK put on quite the light show and walked away with many awards including Album of the Year!
For Daft Punk’s return to the Grammy stage and the first-ever live performance of their smash “Get Lucky,” the French electronic duo threw a massive funk-disco-soul party that featured PharrellWilliams, Stevie Wonder and Chic’s Nile Rodgers.
At the start, Pharrell and Stevie switched off on verses while the robots were nowhere in sight. But about three minutes in, at the back of the fake analog studio set-up, a black screen disappeared, yielding Daft Punk manning the DJ decks in all white and their trademark helmets. The song instantaniously turned the Staples Center into a five-minute dance party. Yoko Ono, Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Steven Tyler, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and many others were all spotted getting down in the audience. The crew barrelled through a smash-up that covered “Get Lucky,” “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger,” Chic’s “Le Freak, and Wonder’s “Another Star.”
