Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026.

Green LED Lighting Solutions ("GLLS," "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through glls.com, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. By using this website, you acknowledge the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide directly: name, company name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and any details you submit through contact forms, sample requests, consultation bookings, or quote/lead inquiries. We do not process purchases or collect payment information through this website — glls.com is used to submit inquiries only, not to complete a sale.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device and operating system information, pages visited, referring pages, and approximate location derived from IP address. Some of this is collected via cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for the full list of tools we use and how to control them.

Information from third parties: if you interact with our ads or content on platforms like LinkedIn, we may receive limited information about that interaction (see Section 4).

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Respond to lead inquiries, quote requests, and sample requests, and provide technical support
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer service
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website and our services
  • Analyze site usage and measure the effectiveness of our content and advertising
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse (e.g., through reCAPTCHA on our forms)
  • Attribute phone calls and leads to the marketing channel that generated them
  • Send product or company updates, where you have opted in (e.g., our newsletter)

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the purposes described in our Cookie Policy, which explains each category of tool we use (necessary, analytics, functional, advertising, and lead/call tracking), the specific providers, and how to manage your preferences. Certain pages on our site — technical data sheet pages — are configured to exclude non-essential cookies and tracking.

4. Third-party service providers

We work with third-party providers who may process information on our behalf or independently for their own purposes, including:

Webflow: Website hosting and content management

Google Analytics 4: Site analytics

Google reCAPTCHA: Form spam/fraud prevention

Microsoft Clarity: Session/behavior analytics

FullStory: Session replay analytics

Jetboost: Site filtering/search functionality

CookieScript: Cookie consent management

LinkedIn: Advertising measurement (Insight Tag) and any embedded LinkedIn content

Microsoft Bing / Microsoft Advertising: Ad measurement

YouTube (Google): Embedded video content

Vimeo: Embedded video content

Microsoft Bookings/Outlook: Consultation scheduling widget

365 Smart Enterprising: Call and lead tracking

Cloudflare: Form spam/fraud prevention

Mailchimp: Newsletter and marketing emai;

D365: Sales and customer relationship management

Each provider's own privacy policy governs their handling of data once received. We do not sell personal information to third parties for unrelated mass marketing purposes.

5. When we disclose information

Beyond the service providers above, we disclose personal information when required by law, or in good faith when necessary to comply with legal process, protect our rights and property, or investigate suspected unlawful activity or misuse of the site.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. As a general framework:

Inquiry, quote request, and sample request submissions: Retained for 3 years from last contact, then deleted or anonymized, unless an active business relationship continues.

Consultation booking data: Governed by Microsoft Bookings' own retention.

Analytics and advertising cookies: Per the expiration periods disclosed in our Cookie Policy — set by the respective providers, not by us

Records we must keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons: Retained for the period required by applicable law

We do not keep personal information indefinitely by default. Where you request deletion under Section 7, we will delete or anonymize your information except where retention is required by law (for example, completed transaction records needed for tax purposes).

7. Your privacy rights

Because our visitors and customers may be located anywhere, we apply the same baseline set of privacy rights to everyone who uses this site, rather than varying rights by location. These rights are set at the level of the more protective frameworks that could apply to you (including the EU/UK GDPR, California's CCPA/CPRA, and Canada's PIPEDA), so that no visitor gets a lesser standard because of where they happen to be.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Delete your personal information, subject to the legal-retention exceptions in Section 6
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, including for direct marketing
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
  • Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. [NEEDS CONFIRMATION FROM OPS: our advertising-related cookies (see Cookie Policy) may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under CCPA/CPRA even though no money changes hands — this is a broader definition than most people expect. Confirm CookieScript is configured with a distinct "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control, not just a general accept/decline banner, before publishing this bullet.]
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, where one exists, if you believe we have not handled your information properly

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
